Our Story
Pediatric Solutions opened in 2005 at our current location with Drs. Baker and Charo. We wanted to provide pediatric care in a welcoming, friendly manner while continuing to follow CDC and AAP guidelines. Offering 24 hour access to physicians is important for parents as well as the option to see a preferred doctor for all Health Maintenance visits. Dr Lee Holmes joined the practice in 2009 which allowed us to expand our hours and offer early morning walk in hours. We work with pediatric hospitalists to provide excellent care for those patients that require hospitalization, and personally see all newborns born at Northwest Community Hospital and Lutheran General Hospital. Our medical technicians and assistants are trained in phlebotomy, immunization administration, and in-office testing procedures.
Our Philosophy
At Pediatric Solutions we strive to offer comprehensive pediatric care from birth through college graduation. We know families come in all forms, shapes and sizes, and work with parents to provide the same care we would provide our own children. We have a similar practice style and communicate with each other frequently about all our patients. Following current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines and staying up to date on new medial research is important to us. Our practice follows the most current recommendations for immunizations published by the CDC, AAP and ACIP (American Committee on Immunization Practices), and we strongly recommend all our patients stay up to date on their vaccinations.
We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year if you ever need to speak to a pediatrician. In order to accommodate every type of schedule, we offer Saturday hours and evening hours 2 days a week as well as morning walk in hours Monday through Friday. All phone calls regarding medical questions are answered by the physicians. Complimentary consults are available to expecting parents and parents seeking a new practice prior to choosing a pediatrician.
Not only are we pediatricians, we are parents as well. We know that children often do not follow what a “textbook” says.
